I was watching a television show the other night showing Paul Newman’s “Hole in the Wall “ camp in Ashford. I have been driving by that camp since 1996 and never knew what went on there. What an amazing camp for sick children of all kinds that is completely free!
The son of NASCAR driver Kyle Petty and the grandson of Richard Petty, Adam, was killed in a race a few years ago. The “Victory Junction Gang Camp” is one of the “Association of Hole in the Wall Camps” and also cares for ill children. So nice that these people have done something so good without any publicity (Oprah?).
